Rules and Conditions

Prizes to be accepted as offered and as presented, there are no substitutes.

Prizes have no cash value unless otherwise stated.

Purchasers must be at least 19 years of age. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor. Tickets must be purchased within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

All persons may purchase tickets. However, Staff and Board members of Manuels River Natural Heritage Society, Inc. ("Manuels River "), Breton Group, and the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association and their immediate family (defined as spouse and children residing with them) are not eligible to claim/win any prizes.

Pursuant to the regulations governing this lottery under authority of Services NL, Consumer Affairs Division, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, tickets must be purchased within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

We “Manuels River” reserve the right to publish names, addresses, and photographs of all the winners and or ticket purchasers and retain the right to use such for any, and all promotional purposes for an indefinite period.

All disputes will be settled by “The Board” of “Manuels River”, all decisions are final.

Our “Manuels River” liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket only, if for any reason the ticket stub is not included in the draw. Manuels River will make every reasonable effort to ensure that no tickets are excluded.

Early Bird Draw: A Mini-Manuel Greenhouse valued at $7,000 or a Cash Prize of $5,000. Purchases made up to midnight NST, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 are eligible. The drawing for this prize will be Friday, July 22, 2022 at Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre.

Bobber Race 50/50 Draw: All Sales end midnight NST, Wednesday, September 7, 2022. The drawing for this prize will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre.

Early Bird Draw – A Mini-Manuel Greenhouse or $5,000.00 presented by cheque.

The Early Bird prize will be issued to the winner in the form of a cheque, if cash is chosen. If the Greenhouse is chosen, the prize will be issued in the form of a redeemable gift certificate.

Bobber Race 50/50 Tickets Available for Online/Phone-in Only

The Bobber Race 50/50 cash prize will be issued to the winner in the form of a cheque.

Bobber Race 50/50 tickets can only be purchased online/phone-in only. These purchases have the following options available only per ticket: One (1) 50/50 Chance for $25.00 or Three (3) 50/50 Chances for $60.00 or Five (5) 50/50 Chances for $75.00 or Ten (10) 50/50 Chances for $100.00. This Draw will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. There is a limited number of 20,000 tickets available. If all tickets are sold at the highest ticket price of $25.00 the Potential Maximum Jackpot could be $500,000.00. The Winner would receive 50% of the actual Jackpot collected.
